Design Standard

Dashboard is the application visual standard: Air Dispatch red, white/charcoal, compact operational tables, readable typography, persistent Light/Dark mode and the same sidebar/topbar navigation on every management page.

Carrier Directory

Names and colors feed shipment carrier selection and rapid visual grouping.

Rating Defaults

The billing engine compares dimensional weight with actual weight. Detailed tariff rates remain protected in Billing and are not shown on the operational Dispatch tab.

Email Service

Open Email Intake
The status only shows Connected after a real OAuth connection exists. Mail can then feed shipment intake, rate/RFQ tasks and response tracking without storing an Outlook password in the browser.

Email Intake Rules

When terminal responsibility cannot be resolved from the ZIP table, the item becomes a Task instead of silently choosing ROC or BUF.

SMS & Operations Alerts

SMS is not assumed active until a provider/backend connection is verified.

After-Hours Contacts

Maintain primary and backup people, then schedule them by date.

Monthly Coverage Schedule

Set the primary and backup for each day so weekends/holidays do not depend on someone remembering to reconfigure the system.
