Invoice number becomes permanent and the shipment leaves Dispatch/Billing Review.
Only reviewed-complete shipments can be invoiced. Once confirmed, each shipment is copied to the invoice archive, its protected billing record is locked, an invoice record is created, and the active Dispatch record is removed. It remains searchable in Shipment Search.
